Lauren Blair is a corporate attorney with extensive experience in general corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, and commercial contracts. Lauren began her legal career in the corporate department of Latham & Watkin’s New York office and then spent fourteen years as inhouse counsel to four publicly traded telecommunications companies, including as Deputy General Counsel and Acting Secretary, where she participated in the structuring, negotiating, and closing of domestic and international acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-offs, and public and private debt offerings, and was responsible for securities law filings, compliance, and various other corporate and commercial matters. Prior to joining Berger Legal, Lauren established a solo practice providing general corporate, transactional, and commercial legal services to small businesses and was of counsel to a boutique law firm, advising midsize companies on commercial contracts and general corporate matters. Lauren received her BA from Skidmore College, Phi Beta Kappa, and her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was an Articles Editor for the Journal of International Law and Politics. Lauren is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
