Anna Aguilar heads the firm's Litigation Practice Group. Prior to joining Berger Legal, Ms. Aguilar established a successful private practice representing companies and individuals in a variety of complex civil litigations and criminal matters. She also has significant experience representing clients in connection with government investigations, including securities law investigations and investigations concerning fraud and accounting issues. She spent most of her career as a litigator with the law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York City. Previously, Ms. Aguilar served as a Law Clerk to Judge Nicholas H. Politan in the District of New Jersey. Ms. Aguilar earned her law degree from Columbia University School of Law in 2000 where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Ms. Aguilar is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, the District of Colorado, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. When not litigating commercial disputes, Ms. Aguilar has an extensive pro bono practice mediating the disputes that frequently arise amongst her cute but quarrelsome triplets.
