Lisa Byrns is a seasoned corporate lawyer with extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and closing transactions in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, fund formation and structured finance. She has represented domestic and international clients in complex transactions often involving intricate tax issues and has structured and developed documentation for new business lines for clients. She is experienced in limited liability, partnership and corporate governance matters. Her practice has included corporate and securities law and the acquisition and disposition of private equity investments. Ms. Byrns previously practiced corporate and banking law at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York for over seven years and most recently at Pastore Osterberg (now Fox Rothschild) in Stamford, Connecticut. She has been extensively involved with the YWCA of Greenwich, including serving on its Board of Directors. Ms. Byrns graduated cum laude from Cornell Law School, where she won the ALI Corporate Taxation Book Award, and from Wellesley College, with honors. Ms. Byrns is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. She lives in Old Greenwich, Connecticut with her husband, her two daughters and her third child, a chow/lab rescue mix named Alfie.
