Niki Kaplan's practices in the area of commercial transactions, intellectual property matters and licensing. Prior to joining Berger Legal, Ms. Kaplan worked as in-house counsel for Paramount Pictures Corporation and Viacom Inc. She previously spent 6 years working at Shaw Pittman (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman), where her primary focus was technology transactions for financial institutions. Ms. Kaplan earned her law degree from Boston University School of Law, while simultaneously receiving an M.S. in Mass Communications from Boston University School of Communications. She received her B.A. in politics from Brandeis University. Ms. Kaplan lives in New York City and frequently travels throughout the world to places no one has ever heard of.
