Jennifer Schaefer practices in the areas of commercial transactions, intellectual property law and franchising. Prior to joining Berger Legal, Ms. Schaefer worked as in-house counsel at The Nielsen Company, Citigroup Corporate and Investment Bank, and T-Mobile USA, Inc. Her primary focus has been technology infrastructure and outsourcing transactions, with particular emphasis on intellectual property and data protection, software licensing and privacy issues. Ms. Schaefer earned her law degree in 1997 from Hofstra Law School, where she was Assistant Editor for the Hofstra Labor Law Journal and contributing author to the Hofstra Environmental Law Digest. She received her B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from Binghamton University in 1994. Ms. Schaefer enjoys spending her free time exploring her hometown of New York City with her husband, daughter and Shih Tzu.
