‘Redefine, rethink, reimagine’: The five work models emerging from the pandemic

The future of office routines disrupted by COVID-19 is becoming clearer with the emergence of five post-pandemic workplace models.About 40 per cent of employees worked from home during lockdowns, and the prevalence of remote work is expected to be much higher than before 2020. Swinburne University of Technology researchers John Hopkins and Anne Bardoel have surveyed a wide range of Australian businesses about their plans and identified five distinct employment models emerging.
