Jack Jackson profile

Jack Jackson is a senior corporate attorney with decades of experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate financing (with an emphasis on representing banks and borrowers), private equity and general business law. Jack was formerly a partner at Proskauer Rose (where he was Co-Chair of the Global Finance Group) and Herrick Feinstein. Over the course of his career, he has also advised clients in selection and organization of optimal investment vehicles; general counseling on Board governance related matters and advising with respect to litigation risk, management and mitigation. He has also served as the Corporate Secretary of a public company. After leaving law firm practice, Jack has represented former law firm clients and start-up businesses in all types of corporate transactional work.and served as a skilled business strategist and trusted tactician to executive leadership, officers, BODs, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders of major institutions, multiple public and privately-held companies (international and domestic) as well as private equity funds. Co-authored “Mergers and Acquisitions Law 2013: Top Lawyers on Trends and Key Strategies for the Upcoming Year.” Jack received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and his M.B.A. from Columbia University School of Business.
