Kevin McCarthy profile

Kevin McCarthy practices corporate and securities law across multiple industries, with expertise representing issuers and investors in private securities transactions including, among other transactions, private placements; mergers and acquisitions; debt capital structuring including acquisition financings, recapitalizations, multiple lien and subordinated debt financings; as well as handling general corporate matters. Kevin works with a wide range of clients, from asset managers, banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions in the private placement space to entrepreneurs seeking counsel regarding entity selection and capital raising matters. Kevin started his career as an associate with Proskauer Rose LLP and, later, with Dickstein Shapiro LLP. He has also worked in-house at Bloomberg LP. Most recently, Kevin has had his own firm, counseling clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including complex financing transactions, as well as regulatory and general corporate matters. Kevin received his B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University and his J.D. from Cornell Law School where he served on the Editorial Board of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. He is licensed to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia.
